Tara is another one of our incredible instructors almost done with her PhD in neuroscience researching schizophrenia. She has a passion for all types of movement having started as a dancer competing across the U.S. and then joining a contemporary dance company studying Martha Graham technique. She was also a long and triple jumper competing at the national lever during university. What started off as an alternative training tool turned into a passion, and Tara completed her hot yoga teacher training before becoming an ETHOS instructor, a place where she can finally use all the movement skills she’s learned from her dance, yoga and athletic background.
She’s a perpetual student and believes in the old Latin proverb “docendo discimus”, which means, “by teaching, we learn." Tara hopes to learn about how movement applies to her students’ bodies and help them learn more about themselves as she prioritises alignment over depth during her classes. She’s always up for a laugh, but don’t let her smile fool you, she’ll work you hard.
Catch her in TRX Yoga Core or Hot Elementals Flow.
