Hailing from NYC, Jennifer has over 25 years of teaching experience in ballet, yoga and cross-training. She studied at the prestigious School of Richmond Ballet, Broadway Dance Studio and completed the professional programme at the Mark Morris Contemporary Dance School and won a national Emerging Choreographer’s Award. Additionally she studied at the University of the Arts, The Place and Richard Alston’s Dance Company with famous choreographers such as Twyla Tharp. She worked at The School of American Ballet and became a certified New York City Ballet Workout instructor.

She left the corporate world to study flamenco with the famous Gitano family, Los Farrucos in Seville, Spain and performed in London. She co-founded Cambridge Contemporary Dance as artistic director, dancer and choreographer. On the business side, she was head of the MBA for Cambridge University and worked previously at Columbia Business School, Carnegie Hall, Whitney Museum of American Art and Pearson Publishers.

She holds an Honours degree in Comparative Literature and an MPhil in Indian Philosophy/Sanskrit from the University of Cambridge where she studied Yoga and then Mahayana Buddhism, nature of paradox and the limits of thought. She has certifications at Cambridge in Executive Management and Evolution/Biology. She holds yoga certifications through Yoga Alliance and the Bikram College of India and studied with top yoga teachers around the world.
